Our Mission

THE WET INITIATIVE is a non-profit aiming to promote sustainability by providing safe and clean water in and around lakes that are often used for recreation.

We follow the theory of "leave no trace."

Our series of human powered Lake Cleanups and Watersport Days aims to promote healthier waterways free from oil pollution, litter, storm drains, and various other pollutants resulting in an enhanced experience on paddling or swimming and other water activities we love.
